Bad Day!!!
I am extremely frustrated... My patience is no where to be found... : ( We had Zoe's last dental appt today..just a couple really small cavities, but unlike last time when she did awesome..today she freaked out! I was so looking forward to being done with this dental stuff with her..and now we get to wait another week to see if she will do good next time. I haven't been feeling very good at all today, and it was all I could do to just get the two kids out of the house to the appointment, and then the thought of going back next week when we could have been done just frustrates me. I know that this really is not a big deal, but on a day when I don't feel good to start with, it is. I think I am most mad at myself for being so frustrated and short-tempered. Before I had kids, I prided myself on being patient in most any circumstance. Now, it seems I have no reserve left to be patient! I have nothing! Nada! Sorry to vent; need to get it out somehow. I know it will be fine. Just pray with me that next week Zoe does well..seriously, I don't want to go through the craziness of today again.

He Loves Us!!!
Well..what to say? Today I feel like crud with a sore throat, and have stayed home all day resting! But last night we went to the Trinity Bible College Alumni Banquet. Lowell Lundstrom was the speaker; he was witty, encouraging, and very interesting to listen to. He encouraged us not to settle for just making it to heaven, but to live each day to the fullest. He has suffered many strokes, heart-attacks, and has Parkinson's, but still is fully trusting and loving God. Do I have that kind of faith? If all the those things happened to me, would the faith I profess really show in my attitude toward God? I hope so. I know that God gives us each the grace to go through whatever comes our way, and yet He protects us from harm too. In Lowell Lundstrom's years of evangelism, he has seen so many peoples' lives changed and healed by the power of Jesus. And yet for me in that single moment, I wasn't as amazed by his legacy but by his faith now during these present trials. He also said often we wonder why God allows this world with all it's evil to exist still, and he said it's because he is giving us each a chance through all the good and bad in this life, to become pure gold. That our character and lives would be refined and our hearts would be one with his. I guess I was just overwhelmed with a sense of God's love for me, and for others. I was so thankful to able to attend this banquet (a night out without the kids!), and this picture we took when we got home. Love to all my readers!!! Karalyn

Ten things that make me feel most complete:
- talking with a friend
- drinking coffee (with massive amounts of creamer-lol)
- spending time with my husband and kids
- snuggles and kisses
- scrapbooking (or any artsy thing for that matter)
- playing basketball and volleyball
- Jesus
- writing songs and singing
- peanut m&m's
- sitting drinking hot chocolate with my cat in my lap

Just Be Happy?
It is late, and I have been thinking... Scary I know! I was thinking tonight about the little tag here on my template, "Just be happy". Can we just be happy? And what is happiness anyways? Is it getting what we want; satisfying our selfishness and our every desire? Can true happiness come from what the world has or from people? And when we really think about it, we know those people we are looking to are just as marred as us, so why do we keep searching for it in them alone? I guess to me happiness is a deep peace inside that cannot be explained. And although I have looked everywhere for it, I have only found it in my relationship with God. It's like when I make the choice to just be still and Trust Him everything else fades away; all the worries, all the annoyances, all the stupid things I once thought so worth fighting about. I take a step back, I breath and realize, it will be ok. So just be happy, yes, but not just in happiness itself, but draw your joy from the One who made you and who loves you without end!
New To This!

So I'm sure everyone remembers their first time blogging! Here's mine. I have been inspired by looking at many of your beautiful sights and inspiring thoughts!! Today has been a great relaxing day for me so far-very unlike yesterday. We were having people over (which I love doing), except I hate the cooking and cleaning that goes with it! We had a great dinner with friends, but today has been my LAZY day and I'm loving it. I'll leave you with a picture of my family!
